At present, our country small and medium-sized enterprises facing unprecedented pressure to survive and development of resistance. R company as a medium-sized private enterprises, due to the problems of the performance management appraisal system, the company employees complain, such as frequent job-hopping phenomenon, affect the enterprise long-term development. This article obtains from the R company middle managers, the R company middle managers based on KPI performance appraisal system, its purpose is to play a better role of middle management in enterprise management, improve the level of R company performance management, help get rid of the predicament, realize enterprise strategic objectives. R company’s middle management based on KPI performance management system if can succeed, to other similar problems of small and medium-sized enterprises will also have the certain enlightenment function.This article expounds the middle management, performance appraisal, and KPI related concepts and theoretical basis, analyzed the R company middle managers and key problems in performance management. On this basis, using the related theory of design based on KPI R company middle managers performance evaluation scheme, and proposes the R company middle managers performance evaluation of the implementation of the steps, measures to guarantee, the effect of survey, etc., the company middle-level personnel performance appraisal problems should be resolved.KPI, or key performance indicators, is melts the enterprise strategy and tactics for the integration of performance management system. KPI for enterprise managers more objectively and directly present the enterprise the most key driver of value creation and enterprise development strategic target decomposition, the work is done directly effect, can enable managers to focus on the business performance of the most valuable action. R company seize the KPI key and hierarchy of the two obvious characteristics, from set out actually, their own enterprises choose to KPI and BSC, MBO and other advanced performance appraisal methods designed for the combination of middle management of the performance management system. At the same time, the company leadership attaches great importance to, employee involvement, the effect of information technology, the KPI questionnaire survey and other aspects, to ensure the middle management based on KPI performance appraisal system in R company implement smoothly.
