| With the development of urbanization, a further decline in the number of rural labor force, the food security issue is increasingly prominent, and agricultural mechanization is imperative. On 1st July, 2007, the implementation of "The Law of Farmers’ Professional Cooperative" indicates that China’s farmer cooperatives steps into a new stage. As the main mode of production of agricultural machinery professional cooperatives, this paper’s main research object — Agricultural Mechanization Service is an important part of farmer professional cooperatives in China, and the main force of Agricultural Mechanization. Agricultural machinery professional cooperative is a kind of modern agricultural management organization. According to the agriculture ministry statistics, there were more than 50,000 agricultural machinery cooperatives which have been recognized and recorded legally registered. The increasing number of cooperatives leads to the imperfection of agricultural machinery cooperatives’ function, which affects the level of cooperatives’ performance.On the basis data analysis and the method of combining qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis, this paper takes 30 agricultural machinery cooperatives in Hunan province as samples, and uses AHP and factor analysis to estimate their performance levels and rankings. According to that, this thesis concludes the problems of Hunan agricultural machinery cooperatives performance.In this paper, the possible innovation points are mainly reflected in topics and research perspective. This paper makes empirical research of agricultural cooperatives which is a special kind of farmer cooperatives, not only to produce products, but also to provide service operation. This research object is rare in previous studies. The author hopes the conclusion of this paper can provide the theoretical guidance for the performance evaluation of the cooperatives, and the suggestion can provide the reference for governments. |
