The Study Of Knowledge Spillover Effect Based On Regional Industrial Agglomeration

There is a close relationship between knowledge spillover and industrial clusters in the course of industrial agglomeration. Knowledge spillover effect comes into being along with the emergence of knowledge and become much stronger while knowledge is considered as an inseparable factor of production inputs. And its main functions to the economy lie on industrial restructuring and core competitiveness by adding fortune through knowledge innovation.For the first time, this paper studies knowledge spillover effect and its influence to industrial agglomeration of Zhejiang province using new growth theory and space economy within a regional industrial agglomeration scope. Besides, facotors like industry clusters, economic development level are also analysized empirically in this paper for the first time.To begin with, this paper redefines the conception of knowledge spillover and its process mechanism. Then it analyses influencing factors of knowledge spillover, especially on the level of industrial clusters. Moreover, according to the researches about the motive of growth, this paper designs a mathematical model of knowledge spillover, by which this paper selects industrial cluster in Zhejiang as the empirical research object, and determines relationships between knowledge spillover effect and various influencing factors.On basis of foregoing analysis, this paper comes to conclusions on industrial clusters in Zhejiang as follows: R&D inputs positively correlates with knowledge spillover effect; The degree of knowledge spillover also positively correlates with the development of cities, Sales revenue; Knowledge absorption capability does not do the same thing; Improvement of traffic condition and distance among cities have no direct relationship with knowledge spillover. Finally, capital asserts negatively correlates with knowledge spillover effect.
