The small and micro enterprise (referred to as s&m hereinafter) is the main channel for providing people new jobs, the main platform for business’s entrepreneurial growth and the important force in technological innovation. It’s strategically important for maintaining the economic development steady and rapidly and promoting the industrial upgrading to support the development of good health of the s&m. However, because of the s&m’s limitations of the entrepreneur’s own resources, they are lack of resources and thin strength in the early days. Then this made them find valuable entrepreneurial opportunities too slowly. Based on this, Relations Web Theory provides a new idea for s&m finding entrepreneurial opportunities.This paper will put the ability of entrepreneurs’social network of relationships into the research frame of the recognition on entrepreneurial opportunity, with treating s&m entrepreneurs as the target groups and basing on conmbining the theoretical research with the empirical one. This paper defines the ability of social network in entrepreneurs in the individual level with dividing it into three respects, network oriented, network construction and network management. In addition, this paper designs three control variables to the age, sex and level of education of s&m entrepreneurs. Based on 156 effective questionnaires, this paper uses the SPSS 17.0 and LISREL8.7 to analyze the effects to opportunity recognition from the ability of entrepreneurs social network and the regulation of network location in the effects.At last, the empirical results show that entrepreneurs who has greater capacity of social network are easier to identify the relationship between the opportunity recognition and the teverse regulation from network location to the ability of entrepreneurs social network.
