Because of the influence of the economic environment, the employment pressure is increasing year by year. In order to promote employment, the state issued a series of measures and policies to encourage entrepreneurship, so entrepreneurship also become one of the concerns. We found that there are existing researches on entrepreneurial opportunity recognition in foreign literatures, but these were in the western developed countries as the research background, there may be differences in developing countries like China. This paper hopes through the study of the influence factors of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and correlation between the factors, to provide theoretical direction for the entrepreneurship education or those who want to establish business. In China we found that most of the scholars just translated foreign scholars’research results, or just verified the research conclusions by the sample in China. The literatures about entrepreneurial opportunity recognition and about its influence factors are few. And also there are few studies at home and abroad, that put multiple factors of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition together. So this paper researched the influence factors of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition (social networks, prior knowledge and entrepreneurial alertness) and the possible correlations between each other, this is of great significance.A good business idea is a precondition of entrepreneurship. That man can make use of the business idea to create an enterprise or department to provide better products or services for the market or customers. To find business opportunities is particularly important for entrepreneurs. And the entrepreneurial alertness is kind of individuals’certain qualities or abilities, and its level determines the probability of entrepreneurial opportunities recognition, this trait may be influenced by social networks and the prior knowledge. According to the basis of ancestors’ research, we constructed a theoretical model of the entrepreneurial alertness, social networks, prior knowledge and entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, aimed at testing entrepreneurial alertness’mediation effect in the influence mechanism of social network and previous knowledge of entrepreneurial opportunity recognition.Through empirical research, the result showed that the effect of social networks and prior knowledge on the entrepreneurial opportunity recognition, is actually through the intermediary variable (entrepreneurial alertness). Namely social networks and prior knowledge will affect the level of individual’s alertness, and then the alertness affects the possibility of entrepreneurs’ opportunity recognition. But we did not found the strong ties has effect on the opportunity recognition.
