Research And Practice Of Index Of SMEs Credit Rating System Based On AHP

With the free and orderly development of the economy, the types of economic entities increases, and the role of small and medium enterprises becomes important increasingly. The SMEs contribute to improving economy and solving the urban employed population, while they also face a shortage of funds and high barriers to financing. After the subprime mortgage crisis, the importance of credit rating becomes prominent. Enterprises and individuals who engaged in economic cooperation will refer to each other’s credit condition as consideration. Nowadays, most SMEs issued a collection of notes to finance in order to get more business capital. While for the reason that current credit rating system is more suitable for large-scale enterprises, the results of SMEs’ credit rating will have slightly errors. Therefore, the credit rating system for SMEs needs to be established urgently.The thesis built an index system which suit for China’s SMEs’ credit evaluation based on the theory of the development of SMEs, credit rating analysis of indicators and rating methodologies. Then, under the guidance of AHP approach, experts scored SMEs’rating index so that built its unique credit rating model. Finally, by choosing two different enterprises in two industries, we verify the feasibility of the model by empirical analysis.In this thesis, the previous research ideas and their methods were used as guidance to help me build the SMEs rating system, and made some innovative research as well. On the one hand, we focus on the characteristic that SMEs attach importance to investment in science and technology. On the other hand, I made some efforts to subdivide the result into the A+or A-levels. However, due to the limitation of the knowledge, the methods is still simple, it should be improved in the future.
