Research On Management And Innovation Strategy Of Chinese Engineering Cost Consulting Industry

Abstract/Summary:
In the context of economic globalization and domestic complex economic development situation, China’s construction cost consulting industry is facing a dual challenge of intensified international competition and domestic industry of environmental change. Nowadays, the research on how to better serve China’s construction market, to integrate with the international engineering cost consulting services, to more actively participate in international competition, has become a hot issue in the field of today’s engineering cost consulting industry.Based on the analysis of the current situation and existing problems of the development of the engineering cost consultation industry, mainly from three aspects of the cost consulting business, business entities and industry management system, this paper attempts to explore the innovative management methods of engineering cost consulting industry. This has certain guiding significance for the development of engineering cost consultation industry in China. Its details are as follows:(1)Through literature review, questionnaires and statistical analysis, this paper studies the current situations of the engineering cost consulting industry, pointed that China’s construction cost consulting industry still has many problems, such as single consulting services product, lack of competitiveness of the engineering cost consulting and the low quality of employees. For the existing problem of the engineering cost consultation industry, this proposes coping strategies of the future development of the engineering cost consulting industry from the three aspects:First, the continuous innovation of the engineering cost consultation service products, actively to develop high-end value-added service products; Second, studying improving path and the core competitiveness of the cost consulting firms; Third, from industry management, strengthen self-discipline management of engineering cost consulting firms and employees.(2) In the study of innovation strategy in engineering cost consultation service, conform to the development trend of integrated project, proposed the high-end value-added service products of the engineering cost consultation, based on information integration:Based on the integrated management of the whole process of construction project cost consulting product, based on LCCM cost consulting product and based on VM cost consulting product. And it analyzes the Implementation approaches of these three kinds of cost consulting products-a view of integrative consultation.(3) In the study of the development strategy of engineering cost consultation enterprises, analyzes the core competence and features of the engineering cost consultation enterprises, establishes the index system model of core competence of the engineering cost consultation enterprises, and describes the improving path of the core competence of the engineering cost consultation enterprises. According to the life cycle of enterprise core competence theory, the core competence of enterprises is an important basis for enterprise development strategy choice. It is pointed out that the development strategy of engineering cost consultation enterprises shall be selected to match with the core competence of enterprises. According to the core competence cycle development theory, choose the engineering cost consultation business development strategies with their actual situation. Thereby increasing the project cost consultation enterprise market competitiveness.(4) In the study of the innovation strategy of industry management, combing the evolution of ideas of Chinese engineering cost consulting industry management, it is pointed out that the current advisory industry market operation mechanism has become the three element structure of market mechanism of government supervision mechanism and self-discipline mechanism. Standard of engineering cost consulting industry management in China should start from two aspects:To establish the self-discipline management mechanism based on engineering cost consultation enterprise reputation and to establish cost consulting employees self-management mechanism based on the proprietary nature of the human capital. And for the establishment of these two mechanisms put forward some suggestions.
