With the rapid development of China's social economy,engineering consulting industry has been developed rapidly at the same time.The number of engineering consulting enterprises is also increasing,and the competition among enterprises is becoming fierce increasingly.At the same time,there is still a big gap between China's engineering consulting enterprises and foreign engineering consulting enterprises,with a serious shortage of core competitiveness and a low level of internationalization.Therefore,this study starts from the engineering consulting enterprises themselves,identifies various factors affecting the core competitiveness of engineering consulting enterprises,constructs structural equation model,analyses the importance of each factor,obtains the key factors,and puts forward corresponding suggestions,so as to improve the present situation of the engineering consulting enterprises,improve the management level,enhance their core competitiveness effectively,thus promoting the further development of engineering consulting enterprises.Firstly,through reviewing and researching the relevant literature at home and abroad,this paper finds out the current situation and existing problems of the core competitiveness of engineering consulting enterprises in China,combs the concepts related to engineering consulting and the theories related to the core competitiveness of enterprises,and clearly points out the characteristics of engineering consulting enterprises and the characteristics of core competitiveness,which lays a solid theoretical foundation on the research of the paper.At the same time this study selects the literature study method and Delphi method to identify and modify the influencing factors,through comparing the common recognition and research method of influence factors,combined with the applicability of this study,and finally obtains 21 influencing factors and divides them into four categories: social influence category,human resources management category,core technology category and operational management capacity category.Secondly,the method and application of structural equation model are briefly introduced.Through comparative analysis,the application software of structural equation model is selected.Based on the relevant theory and actual situation,the initial structural equation model is established and the model hypothesis is put forward.Then,Collecting data by the way of designing,distributing,and recycling questionnaires.The validity and reliability of the questionnaire were tested by SPSS software.After satisfying the requirement,we use the method of structural equation model to carry out empirical analysis,and use AMOSS software to fit and evaluate the initial model,after several revisions,the optimal model of the factors affecting the core competitiveness of engineering consulting enterprises is finally obtained,and the research results are derived.Finally,this study verifies the theoretical assumptions,made clear the influence factors of engineering consulting enterprise core competence and its influence degree from analysis of the results,and according to calculate the comprehensive influence coefficient to get six key factors:the enterprise technology innovation and research and development ability,the quality of consulting business,and level,scientific research and transformation ability,corporate culture,corporate reputation and credibility,market development and strain capacity.Engineering consulting enterprises should focus on these factors in the process of operation and development,this paper simultaneously proposes some suggestions to improve the core competitiveness of engineering consulting enterprises from four aspects: strengthening human resources management,organizational management,corporate culture construction and core technology.
