The Research Of Promoting The Core Competitive Force For Domestic Engineering Consulting Enterprise

As our economy has been developing rapidly in the past decades, the domesticengineering consulting industry has made great progress, and is now developingprosperously. Nevertheless, compared with its counterpart of foreign countries, domesticengineering consulting industry still has a series of problems. The development and changesof the economic situation in these years has made new demands on domestic engineeringconsulting industry. After China’s accession to WTO, foreign counseling firms, which haveconspicuous advantages in asset & technology management, personnel, and etc., come in,while the domestic consulting firms can also go out to the global market. This situation isboth a challenge and an opportunity for domestic consulting firms, in which domesticconsulting firms must have a clear understanding of today’s economic situation and theirown strength, and actively improve their own competitiveness in the fierce marketcompetition to win. Besides, China’s economy is inseparable from the support of domesticengineering consulting firms to achieve faster and greater development.Because there isn’t a standardized approach to the research of the core competitivenessof the engineering consulting firms at present, this paper, through analyzing the indicatorsand data performed by the core competitiveness of the domestic engineering consulting firms,aims to propose the theoretical orientation of the engineering consulting firms’corecompetitiveness and design a new core competitiveness evaluation index and then imply thisindex to evaluate and assess the competitiveness of domestic engineering consulting firms,so as to help these firms improve their management level and economic efficiency, andenhance their own strength, thereby enhancing their competitiveness in the market, andpromoting faster and better development of national economy as well.This study, starting from the analysis of the current situation of domestic engineeringconsulting industry, analyzed its problems and deficiencies, combed the corecompetitiveness theory of engineering consulting firms, analyzed the constituent elements of the core competitiveness of engineering consulting firms, and established correspondingevaluation system and evaluation methods, and proposed methods to improve the corecompetitiveness of China’s engineering consulting firms. This study is of certain significancefor domestic engineering consulting firms to improve their own core competitiveness.
