Application Of Analytic Hierarchy Process In Research In Engineering Bidding

In the economy market, the system of bidding is the most common and most social recognized trading system, this trading system appeared firstly in Britain in eighteenth Century, and it is used in the procurement of the British government. At present, in the market economy, the bidding system is widely followed and used by the governments and enterprises, and it has formed a system and a complete mode of operation. But in China the bidding system only has 35-year history in the field of construction projects. The new bidding system in our country is not so perfect, the transaction process in the economic market is still in confusion, the transaction costs are still too high, and the economic benefits that bidding system could create is not maximized.Therefore, we should study the existing bidding problems, standardize the bidding mechanism in the market economy, control the behavior of the parties in the bidding process, reduce the waste of the bidding market for various social resources (manpower, funds and so on), build and perfect the public bidding system, thereby reduce the cost of the bidding transaction. To improve the fairness and justice the allocation of social resources in the economic activities, the economic benefits the bidding system create can be maximized.This paper describes the evaluation standard system of China’s current construction project at present, and summarizes the common evaluation methods. The process of bidding is the process of decision-making, therefore, this paper carry on the analysis of the analytic hierarchy process, to establish a mathematical evaluation model, and this model will be applied to the analysis of actual case, finally validates the practical application value of the model, it is objective and scientific.In this case, through the use of mathematical model, the paper ultimately determines the evaluation attributes and weight coefficients index of each attribute. In the case, the paper uses the analytic hierarchy process (AHP) to calculate the ordering scheme and the optimal scheme, and improve the impartiality, objectivity and scientificity of the tendering and bidding process, reduce human factors and subjective factors in bidding. The analytic hierarchy in the application process of bidding and tendering make the decision-making process more practical, scientific and objective.
