Study On The Factors Of Industry Total Factor Productivity Measure And Effect Of Chongqing Manufacturing

In the 21 st century,China has become the first big country, manufacturing of chongqing positioning is the national important modern manufacturing base. Since the crown, the development of the manufacturing industry in chongqing is very fast, constantly looking for new sources of growth period,even in nowadays China’s economic growth is slowing, chongqing manufacturing industry is still the focus of economic growth. But in the process of development with high input, low output, high energy consumption, low efficiency, improve the total factor productivity of manufacturing industry of Chongqing, that got the impact factor, enhanced the sustainability of economic growth, is the urgent requirement of chongqing economic development. there is important practical significance.Chongqing manufacturing total factor productivity change rule and influence factors of research for us to understand the future development of chongqing manufacturing.This paper used the Malmquist index method based on DEA, calculates the Chongqing manufacturing industry total factor productivity. the results show that: during the period of 2003-2013, the total factor productivity level of Chongqing manufacturing industry in various industries are greatly improved; in terms of technical efficiency, the overall increased slightly in the long-term fluctuations in the trend; in technical progress, 2003-2013 years technical progress although there are fluctuations, but the overall upward trend, the movements are more than technical efficiency change range. Therefore, the technological progress is the main factor affecting the total factor production level of Chongqing manufacturing industry, to enhance the technical efficiency total factor productivity is not obvious; from the classifications, the lowest technical efficiency of machinery and electronics industry, affecting the TFP level to a certain extent, the total factor productivity of textile manufacturing industry in a slow growth state. The technical progress index is the largest high-end technology in manufacturing industry, the total factor productivity index is affected by technological progress as the strong, and high technology manufacturing, low technology manufacturing and low-end technology manufacturing industry is at a higher level; the study found that, improving the manufacturing quality of personnel, increasing investment in research and development of science and technology and the active participation of the private economy the Chongqing manufacturing industry total factor productivity had a greater role in the inspection period.
