With the deepening of economic globalization, China’s participation in the international market of economic activity levels are constantly upgrading. In 2014, China’s total volume of export reached 2.34 trillion dollars, 170 times as much as that in 1978. Obviously, the export scale has been taking on a state of sustained and steady development. Along with the continuous expansion of export scale and the development level of productivity, China’s quality of export products has got ascend. Compared with the same level of the world countries, the technical content of our export products are in a leading position. But there is still a large gap compared with developed countries. China’s foreign trade development is still very arduous. To improve the quality of China’s export products, narrowing the gap with developed countries would be an urgent priority. “Global Enabling Trade Report 2014”has evaluated the trade development from the market access, border management, infrastructure and operating environment aspects. The report pointed out, weaken infrastructure including the market of low efficiency, complicated procedures and the device is not very well also affects the quality of a country’s export products, thereby affecting a country’s trade development. Thus, infrastructure investment plays an important role in the process of improving the quality of export products. Therefore, a comprehensive research in depth between the two relationship is of significance.Firstly, the author integrated and combined the related literature, then reviewed the literature. On the basis of this, analysis in detail of the infrastructure of effect on the quality of export products in China from the theoretical model. Secondly, this paper uses the index of unit product value adjusted by technology level to measure the quality level of the export products, then use Exploratory Spatial Data Aanalysis(ESDA) to test its spatial autocorrelation effects. After that, found the quality level of the export products present geospatial distribution on clusters, most of the provinces’ Moran’I scatter scattered in the H-H and L-L quadrant, that means the quality level of the export products present spatial autocorrelation in significance. Based on this, the author adapt spatial econometrics and maximum likekihood method to make an empricial analysis of the effect on the quality level of the export products from the infrastructure investment, which the data comes from 2002-2008 Chinese 31 provinces(municipalities). The research results show that: transportation infrastructure and information infrastructure input have a significantly positive effect on the quality level of the export products, but energy infrastructure which has no significantly positive effect on the quality level of the export products. The impact of information infrastructure input on the quality level of the export products is the biggest. In addition, both the research and development of science and technology, culture and education and marketization process of the social infrastructure investment have a significantly positive effect on the quality level of the export products. The impact of culture and education investment on the quality level of the export products is the biggest. Generally speaking, social infrastructure has a greater impacts on the quality level of the export products than economic infrastructure. Finally, the paper presents several policy recommendations.
