Since the reform and opening up,China's GDP grew at an average annual rate of 10.4%,and the economic growth rate was much higher than the international level.During the Fifteen years of western development, the growth rate of gross domestic product(GDP)in the western region has been led nationwide. At present,China's western region is facing a new opportunity again. The construction of the New Silk Road Economic Belt will bring new vitality to the development of the western region. In order to develop the economy, especially the low level of infrastructure in the western region,we need to advance the infrastructure construction, and we must make great efforts to push forward the construction of infrastructure,so as to lay a solid foundation for economic development. As a regional integration strategy, the Silk Road Economic Belt's pursuit is the development of the whole economic belt rather than a separate province. Therefore,In order to study the economic role of regional infrastructure construction along the economic belt in neighboring areas and the overall economic belt, the spatial factors should be taken into consideration. The improvement of Economic growth theory, new economic geography theory and spatial econometrics theory provides methods for the study of spatial problems.Based on the lack of research on the spatial effect of infrastructure and economic growth, especially on the serious shortage of spatial effects of information and energy infrastructure, this paper selects panel datas of 9 provinces and cities along the Silk Road Economic Belt from 1997 to 2014,using spatial econometric model that adding spatial weight matrix W.The empirical results show that:The SDM double fixation effect model of time and space is the optimal estimated model considering the geography adjacency spatial weight matrix.Transportation and information infrastructure have significant promotional effects on the local region's economic growth, and energy infrastructure has no significant effect on the province's economic growth. In terms of the spatial effect of infrastructures, the transport infrastructure has Positive spillover effects, and information, energy infrastructure in space embodied as competitive,of which the energy infrastructure is more competitive. In the overall perspective of Silk Road Economic Belt, the transport infrastructure has a positive effect on the whole regional's economic. While the overall impact of energy infrastructure on economic growth is markedly negative, indicating that the improvement of the energy infrastructure of the Silk Road Economic Belt will curb economic growth.Through the analysis of the above conclusions and the analysis of the development trend, spatial difference and polarization characteristic of the transportation, information and energy infrastructure of the Silk Road Economic Belt, the policy recommendations that conducive to the government and relevant departments to develop development plans have been formed.
