Commercial banks play an important role in our country’s modern economy system,its good management could provide strong support for the whole economy. An effective performance evaluation system is a powerful tool to check commercial bank’s management and operation. Therefore, to design a scientific performance evaluation system become very important for improving commercial banks’ core competitiveness.With the research methods of analytic hierarchy process, case analysis,and questionnaire, choosing C Commercial Bank as the research object, this paper will design a scientific, integrated, and practical performance evaluation system for C Commercial Bank.This paper includes 7 chapters. Chapter 1 is the exordium, which consists of the study backdrop and significance, literature review on performance evaluation home and abroad,research content, methods and fundamental approaches. Chapter 2 introduces the stakeholder theory, internal control theory, strategic management theory, and correlative performance evaluation approaches. Chapter 3 introduces C Commercial Bank’s basic situation and performance evaluation status quo, and diagnoses its quondam evaluation system. Chapter 4 is the keystone of this paper. In accordance with C Commercial Bank’s strategic goal, according to the design idea and fundamental principal of performance evaluation, we use balanced scorecard to set evaluation index, use the analytic hierarchy process to set index weight, and conclude the final performance evaluation system. Chapter5 provides the specific measures of C Commercial Bank’s performance evaluation system.Chapter 6 is the case analysis. We actualize the evaluation system in D Branch of C Commercial Bank, analyze the evaluation result, and put forward opinion and suggestions.Chapter 7 is the ending words, which concludes the research achievements of this paper.The performance evaluation system we design has give an actual, external, and equitable comprehensive evaluation on the management of C Commercial Bank. We wish they could provide some referential value for the commercial banks’ performance evaluation of our country.
