Research On Problems And Countermeasures Of Food Safety

Food is the fundamental guarantee of human’s life, therefore, food safety is closely linked with people’s daily life. In recent years, the media has disclosed several scandals including Sanlu Melamine Event, Taiwan Plasticizer Disturbance, Shenyang poisoned bean Sprouts Event, Hero Nutradefense Fake Milk Powder, and Husi Expired Meat, etc, which has caught attention of the public. Meanwhile, the government is questioned a lot due to food safety problems. Such phenomenon has aroused profound discussion about such problems. The thesis focuses on how to carry out food safety supervision in a better way under the new system of food and medicine supervision with the perspective of government public administration.Starting with the research on fundamental theory of food safety supervision, the thesis has an attempt to explore the reform of our country’s food safety supervision system. It tries to analyze the section supervision mode and centralized supervision mode under the circumstance of the overhaul. The focus is the present situation and existing problems of food safety supervision in Hohhot. Through the research into the sauce of food safety supervision which is the process of manufacturing with the centralized supervision mode, the author has found out some common defects of food safety supervision under the circumstance of the overhaul. Comparatively analyzing American national food safety supervision mode and administration concepts applied by some member countries of EU, the thesis puts forward the suggestions on improving the present situation of food safety supervision in Hohhot. The suggestions include improving concerning regulations of food safety supervision, establishing and perfecting supervision systems of small workshops and setting up food inspection agencies in Hohhot to provide scientific and technological support for food safety supervision.
