Research On Measures Of The Construction Of Transit Metropolis In Hohhot

In recent years, with the high-speed development of economics in hohhot, the transportation demand has increased rapidly, modern city urban motorized travel has become an important trend, and private cars have become the main form of motorized urban, it is hard to totally solve the problem of transportation jam.Urban public transport is an important part of urban construction, the basic conditions for the survival of the people, and an important symbol of the city’s comprehensive strength. In recent years, the rapid development of Hohhot public transport, partly alleviated this problem of urban development. But public transport development is still relatively weak, could not meet the increasing demand for smooth travel. Building a new transit metropolis, (transit-oriented development) TOD mode introduced in urban development, Hohhot undoubtedly has a good opportunity to solve this problem and take countermeasures.TOD development model as a new concept of urban development, which is characterized by a single function of land use change, is more flexible and can be mixed land development model. It is a set of work, residential, commercial, cultural, educational, and entertainment as one of the "mixed land use."In this paper, the use of qualitative analysis methods, the use of public management perspective has been discussed to explore issues of urban construction and management of Hohhot under TOD mode. This paper describes the experience of TOD model, both the domestic and international. This paper is mainly about the theoretical analysis of traffic demand management, the analysis of the development and current situation of Hohhot’s transit metropolis system, current measure and problems of traffic demand management of Hohhot’s transit metropolis system and the optimizing measures of traffic demand management of the construction of Hohhot’s transit metropolis system:To build the government-enterprises co-construct development model, which uses multi-agent supply pattern in the construction. Build the Town-Community-residential pattern in urban-construction, in which the estate and traffic demand is in harmony. Increase the government financial support, create the intelligent transportation and improve the public transportation servise.
