In the 21st century, the degree of aging of population is rapidly increasing, such as insufficient labor supply, pension gap and a series of major issues are highlight. Delay retirement age, "double track" pension system reform is on the agenda as coping strategies, caused the social public backlash. According to delay retirement problem, the public response was particularly strong, either for or against, the focal point is still delay retirement age benefit brought by the adjustment, which involves the influence factors of delay retirement decision and the mechanism is the main problem of this article studies.Previous studies gather on macro-level to discuss the pros and cons of the main influence of delay retirement, we still lacks empirical research to examine mechanisms for individual retirement decisions.Based on the analysis of factors affecting employee retirement decisions, the main problem of this study is from the individual level, job characteristics of employees, discuss the relationship between job characteristics and delay retirement.while emotional commitment as a mediating variable, and delay discounting that represents personal retirement benefit factors as a moderating variable, so as to research the mechanism about the delay retirement decision, so as to provide theoretical guidance for the government, enterprises and employees to seek consensus and scientific decision-making.This study adopts questionnaire survey measurement and computer simulation. Samples mainly come from Shanghai, Jiangsu Province, Zhejiang Province and others. By on-site testing facilities,264 questionnaires were effective. Using SPSS software to deal with the data analysis, get the following main conclusions:job characteristics have a significant positive impact on the employees are willing to accept to delay retirement; emotional commitment have play the partly intermediary role in the process for job characteristics effecting on employee delay retirement descion; individual delay discounting have a negative adjustment in the process for job characteristics effecting on employee delay retirement descion.
