As the rapid development of social economy and the improvement of living standards, it has been increasing of the demands from consumers on the catering concept, environment and service. The competition has become even crueler in the current Chinese catering industry and it shows the challenge on overall quality of the staff among restaurants. Because the knowledge-based employees hold the advanced culture and knowledge, they have played an important part for the enterprise on creating, using and improving their knowledge, becoming the keys to enterprise core competitiveness and development. This is to focus on how to reduce the turnover of knowledge-based employees which is the key of enterprise human resources management.Upon the current situation of domestic and foreign turnover of knowledge-based staff, it is not difficult to find the main factors influencing the turnover of knowledge-based employees in several aspects. It is complex on turnover of knowledge-based employees. There are various reasons caused the turnover of knowledge-based employees due to their different enterprises and industries, as well as their multifarious personal situations. Taking C company as an example, adopting the method of literature research, case analysis and other research methods, referring to the related literature at home and abroad, this paper makes an induction and summary for the employee turnover and it also makes a thorough elaboration on the turnover of knowledge-based employees of C company.This paper discusses the C company knowledge-based staff turnover in different levels and depths with carrying on the investigation, research and analysis, presenting solutions and countermeasures based on the documents provided. In the introduction, it comes forward the research direction and framework by the background and impact of the knowledge-based employees turnover. Upon the theoretical basis mentioned in the materials, it makes the definition and analysis on the related concepts and issues, conducting deep investigation and analysis in details on the turnover of knowledge-based employees. Meanwhile, based on the exit interview to the staff and the satisfaction survey to the serving employees from C company, this is to analyze the turnover of knowledge-based staff of C company in three aspects, as from the society, enterprise and individual respectively, putting forward the changes and improvement to the company at the same time, including salary adjustment, performance appraisal, employee training and promotion, management system, corporate organization and culture. It will apply medicine according to main indications of turnover of knowledge-based staff. Full observed on these key factors, combined with the company strategy and market environment, it puts forward the countermeasures such as the salary system perfecting, innovative training model, intensive performance management, establishing a harmonious relations among employees, setting a crisis management system to reduce turnover rate. Finally, as the conclusion of this paper, it makes a summary of the research, methods and countermeasures, originating the innovation. The limitations are also pointed out in this paper in order to study further for improvement with a prospection.The main innovation of this paper is the countermeasures provided on reducing the turnover rate of C company knowledge-based employees. The conclusion of this paper can provide guidance and reference for human resource management. Although C company is taken as the research object in this paper, this is to expect the cause and countermeasure provided herein that could benefit other western-style food enterprises with franchised stores.
