Junior school students are the hope of a country, standing for the country’s future. In China, the concept of quality education has also been proposed for many years, the study stage of junior school is the best time to implement quality education. The kind of research of using tourism’s education function to develop junior school students’ correct consumption behavior and ideas, improve their interpersonal skills, increase the level of their physical and mental health are being concerned about by more and more scholars. This paper is aimed at understanding the current situation of junior school students’ travel consumption behavior. I used the methods as literature review, questionnaire, in-depth interviews, and other research methods to explore and study the characteristics of junior school students’ travel consumption behavior and its influencing factors. Based on the statistics analysis and interviews analysis, I finding out the problems of junior school students’ tourism market. Then, I make suggestions to develop junior school students’ tourism market.Firstly, through literature review method, I collate and summarize domestic and foreign researches of travel consumption behavior and adolescent tourism. Then I put forward the theoretical and practical significance of researching junior school students travel consumption behavior. The paper use the junior school students of five Hunan Normal University’s affiliated middle schools as the research object, through the information collected by questionnaire data and in-depth interviews, I draw the following conclusions: junior school students have a strong willingness to travel, parents, schools, students themselves are all very recognized the positive function of tourism activities for junior school students. However, the current development of junior school students’ tourism market is still not standardized, it exist many problems. So we must take measures to solve these problems: Firstly, all people need to change opinion about junior school students’ travel consumption behavior. Secondly, government and education authorities should introduce new policy to change junior school students’ evaluation and education mode. Thirdly, travel agencies should adopt a more specialized market strategy to expand junior school students’ tourism market.
