Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,China has paid more and more attention to aesthetic education,and constantly issued policies on strengthening aesthetic education.In October 2020,the General Office of the CPC Central Committee and the General Office of the State Council issued the Opinions on Comprehensibly Strengthening and Improving Aesthetic Education in Schools in the New Era,which emphasized that aesthetic education is a process of cultivating students' all-round growth,as well as an indispensable compulsory course and "nutritional basis" for students' all-round development.Music appreciation teaching is one of the important contents of school music teaching.The organic combination of junior high school music appreciation teaching and aesthetic education is an important way to cultivate students' noble aesthetic taste and musical aesthetic ability.But in our actual junior high school music appreciation teaching,the effect of aesthetic education is not obvious.This study I practice school A school as A case of Zhengzhou city as the research object,the music appreciation teaching to cultivate students' music aesthetic ability and investigate the practice,analysis of the problems existing in the school music aesthetic education in junior high school students and the reasons,and strive to middle school students' music aesthetic ability of music appreciation teaching targeted and constructive countermeasures and Suggestions are put forward.Questionnaire and interview methods are used as the main research methods in this study.The policy basis is the "Music Curriculum Standards for Compulsory Education" issued and implemented by the Ministry of Education in 2011.The framework of this paper is divided into four parts.The first part is a brief theoretical research part,which analyzes the basic requirements of aesthetic education in music appreciation teaching in the new curriculum standard.The second part is an investigation of the current situation of the cultivation of music aesthetic ability of junior high school students in A Middle School,including A questionnaire survey of300 junior high school students and an interview of all the music teachers in junior middle school and an analysis of the investigation process and results.The third part,through the investigation of the current situation of cultivating students' music aesthetic ability,finds that there is a shortage of music teachers and inadequate arrangement of class hours in its teaching.Low utilization of teaching equipment and resources;Students' own music literacy foundation is weak and other problems,and corresponding analysis of the causes of these problems: administrators pay insufficient attention to music teaching;The teaching evaluation system is not perfect;The deviation of value orientation and so on.The fourth part aims at the above problems and combines the requirements of the latest aesthetic education document "Suggestions on comprehensively strengthening and improving the aesthetic education in schools in the new era",and puts forward the cultivation strategies for the music aesthetic ability of junior high school students in School A from the perspectives of music appreciation teaching itself,schools,teachers and students:Music appreciation teaching should enhance the cultivation of junior middle school students' music aesthetic sensibility,judgment,imagination and creativity,schools should set up correct educational concepts,teachers should constantly improve their professional quality,students should actively cooperate with music teaching.
