Based on construction supply chain and the situation of construction industry, this paper uses management theory, construction supply chain theory and theory of Joint Managed Inventory and other disciplines to study materials inventory, proving the feas ibility of jointly managed inventory model. In this paper, the main research contents are as follows:First, this paper describes the research background, reviews the existing research and commentary, and summarizes the inadequacies of the existing research, proposing the purpose and meaning of this paper.Second, the paper studies the problem of the Jointly Managed Inventory of supply chain of construction materials, which is made up of one general contractor and multip le sub-contractors. In condition of short supply unallowab le and short supply allowab le, the model compares traditional independent inventory cost with jo intly managed inventory cost to prove that the later one is more optimal. Then the paper makes an examp le of one general contractor and two sub-contractors to do a research on the problem of cost sharing. Using shap ley value method, the cost of cooperation partners under JMI is proved to be lower than traditional independent inventory cost. Finally, the paper studies the problem of the Jo intly Managed Inventory of supply chain of construction materials, which is made up of several sub-contractors, one general contractor and several material suppliers. In condition of short supply unallowable, the model compares traditional independent inventory cost with jo intly managed inventory cost to prove that the later one is more optimal. And then distributing the save cost on average to guarantee each enterprise sharing interests.
