The Application Of PDCA Cycle In Quality Management Research Of W Steel Company

In 2013,the output of China steel reached 0.716 billon tons, accounting for 46.3% of the world’s total. The proportion is so high, in theory, the competitiveness of Chinese should be very strong in international steel market, but in fact the opposite is true, the competitiveness of Chinese is not strong, the reason is that the core competitiveness of iron and steel products is not strong in China. China is a big country of iron and steel, but not a steel power, the Different of "big" and "strong", reflects the quality management level of our current, how to improve the quality level of the enterprise is the focus of the work in iron and steel enterprise in the future.Firstly, This article describes the background of the steel industry,the quality management theory and literature knowledge.Then Taking W company as an example, This article describes the product structure of W company and the existing quality problem, finally,the article choose the fold defect of galvanized sheet quality problem in W company’s to research by PDCA cycle. At last, it verify the improvement results through data analysis The article provides some reference for other iron and steel enterprises by the method quality management of W company as an example, then can promote the quality of iron and steel products, and enhance the core competitiveness of China’s iron and steel enterprises.
