Since 2012, under the influence of international economic slack, domestic macro-policy adjustment and the price increase of production factors, the production, export as well as revenue increase speed of the home textile industry have been showing a sign of slowdown. The Nantong’s home textile industry is currently facing a huge challenge in how to accomplish an industrial upgrade, how to improve the core competitiveness of its enterprises, as well as how to maintain its sustainable development.This paper takes Nantong’s XY Home Textile Company as an example to undertake an in-depth and detailed study. First, it points out the current situation and existing problems of the XY Company; and then analyses its internal operation situations and external business environment. It also outlines the XY Company ’ s strengths and weaknesses using the SWTO method, defines its developmental strategies; and it finally gives the steps and measures of strategic development for the XY Company. In doing so, the paper also gives theoretical support to the strategic development of the Nantong’s medium and small sized home textile industry. |
