Study On The Efficiency Evaluation Of Agricultural Productive Services In Henan Province Based On DEA Model

The current Chinese economy entered the stage of medium-fast growth. As the basic industry of the national economy, agriculture faced the great challenge with its development environment of modernization. Agriculture should turn the extensive management to intensive management, take the path of modern development with high production, high quality and efficiency. As the industry which serves to agriculture, the agricultural productive services has importance to the optimization of agricultural input-output ratio, the improvement of agricultural market competition and the transformation of agricultural development mode. Therefore, pay attention to the development of agricultural productive services which is a major initiative to the implementation of the new agricultural modernization with Chinese characteristic.In this paper, on the theoretical level, we established the model of efficiency evaluation which based on the characteristic of the agricultural productive services’ development and the theory of DEA. On the application level, we take the empirical study on the efficiency evaluation of agricultural productive services which based on Henan province to verify the model’s availability. This paper constructs the agricultural productive services’ evaluation model which contains of the input(the index system of efficiency evaluation), process(the DEA model of efficiency evaluation) and output(the analysis of efficiency model’s result).The model expands the field of DEA model’s application.Firstly, we summarized the specific meaning of the agriculture productive services and analyzed the related supporting theories. Secondly, we analyzed the overall level and the common present existing problems of agricultural productive services in Henan, and then constructed the available DEA model for the efficiency evaluation of agricultural productive services’ development. Finally, according to the results and the regional features of Henan Province, we analyzed the influential factors of agricultural productive services’ development, and then put forward the suitable strategy for it.
