An Analysis On Changes Of Farmers’ Income Structure

Recently, the agriculture in our country develops stably, the country features take on a new look, the grain yield creates a new high, the rural reform keeps carrying forward, and the living standard of peasants grows obviously. Although much progress is realized, we still face a serious issues of agriculture, farmer, and rural area, and these issues will prevent the realization of socialist development and common prosperity. Farmers’ income is the key problem of agriculture, and reflect the living standard of farmers. Some measures are taken to improve the income of farmers, for example, two synchronization policies are come up with at the 18th Party Congress, and Three Rural Issues are emphasized one the central first document in 2012. Farmers’income increases steadily and stably with the perfection of agricultural policy for many years. The reasons include not only the increase of absolute value of income but also the diversification of income streams, which results in a more complex income structure. Therefore researching the income structure will reveal the deeper causes of the increase of farmers’ income and reflect the development of income streams, so that it will provide strong theoretical basis for increasing farms’income.In this dissertation, the farms’income structure and its effect factors are researched. The science of the dissertation is ensured by researching others’paper, studying related-theory, and analyzing the statistical data. The innovation lies in the panel data model which is established from data in 31 provinces. Wage income, household income, transfer income and property income-the four sources of farmers’income are analyzed in 31 provinces. Finally, according to the empirical analysis, the dissertation provides some feasible and effective suggestions.
