The Shift-Share Analysis On Industrial Structure Of The Four Key State-owned Forest Industry Groups

Forestry is an important part of the national economy. It’s a career and industry sector with the dual missions of optimizing protecting and promoting the ecological environment and promoting industrial development. Forestry in the national economy is very important, but the forestry industry output value accounts for a small proportion of gross domestic product. In 2012, it was only 7.39%. Ecological civilization requires the development of forestry industry output growth, while paying attention to focus on the "green" in the pursuit and management. This requires that the forestry industry restructures the whole industry frame and upgrades higher level. The solution of continuing growth, improving industrial competitiveness, increasing employment and achieving sustainable development in the process of forestry enterprises economic development depend on the forestry industry structural contradictions relaxation and weakened. On state-owned Forest industry Group, its traditional irrational industrial structure has not gradually adapt to the development needs of the forestry industry and the conduct of ecological civilization construction.Based on the above background and the Shift-Share Analysis method (SSM), in terms of overall growth in the amount of industrial development, industrial structure components, competitive and the deviation component, this paper researched on the relationship of Chinese state-owned Forest industry Group forestry industry development and industrial structure. The results were showed:between 2003-2012, China’s forestry industry output showed a rising trend, and the gross domestic product (GDP) haved gradually increased the proportion, and the growth rate was much higher than the growth rate of GDP in the corresponding period. With the development of the forestry industry, the forestry industry structure constantly tended rationalization; both 2003-2007 and 2008-2012 periods, the forestry industry of Long jiang and Da Xing’an mountain Forest industry Group were always faster than the national forestry enterprises average, and haved the advantages with industrial structure and location in the second period; except inner mongolia Forest industry Group, the forestry development of other three Forest industry Groups were faster than the national average. From the first period to the second period,the various industrial sectors of Ji Lin forest industry group have becomed disadvantage to advantage, and making its forestry industry is much higher than the national average.
