This paper is to study the relationship between the industrial structure and the growth of China's Forestry Industry.First analyzes the development of china's forestry industry during 1998-2007.And then designs a Gini coefficient of Forest -Resources Industry, and measured the degree of the uneven geographical distribution of China's forestry industry and forest resources with the Gini coefficient. After that analyses the growth of China's forestry industry with shift-share analysis.Based on above analysis, conclusions are drawn as follow:(1)While China's forestry industry had a rapid growth, the industrial structure of China's forestry industry became more and more rational during 1998-2007.The development of the regional forestry industry was uneven.(2)The geographical distribution of China's forest industry and Forest resources was uneven during 1998-2007.The degree of the uneven geographical distribution of the primary industry of China's forestry industry and forest resources was decreasing year by year during 1998-2007.The degree of the uneven geographical distribution of China's forestry industry and forest resources rose year by year during 1998-2003,then decreased slowly during 2004-2007.The degree of the uneven geographical distribution of the secondary industry of China's forestry industry and forest resources changed much the same. The degree of the uneven geographical distribution of the tertiary industry of China's forestry industry and forest resources.also rose year by year during 1998-2003,then decreased slowly during 2004-2007.(3)The contribution of industrial structure's contribution to the growth of forest industry were always higher than the national average in Zhejiang,Fujian,Tibet,Jilin and Heilongjiang province during 1998-2007.
