Given that the domestic marketing competition for management software is getting increasingly fierce, and the upcoming industry reshuffle tide is approaching, it is gradually realized that the key to maintain and enhance the core competitiveness is to achieve the market consolidation and development through the power of distribution channels. And how to improve the distribution management and maximize the channel performance has become the focus of the marketing strategy of software enterprises.M company is the first Chinese brand in manufacturing industry of those who engaged in IT hardware and software products. After the success in pioneering in the manufacturing field of 3C electronic market, M became the first few explorers among the domestic software market again. So this paper takes the M company as a sample, to discuss its management problems, in the presence of channel member management, training and other possible aspects.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter briefly introduces the research background and significance, and summarizes the main content and research methods. The second chapter is the literature review part. The third chapter briefly introduces the current status of M company profile and channel management. The fourth chapter discusses problems existing in the distribution channel management of M company and various causes them. The fifth chapter put forward the corresponding improvement strategies and plans according to the available resources of M company based on the existed problems. The seventh chapter is the ending part and prospects.This paper aims at systematically studying the construction and management problems of distribution channel management in M company with academic theory system, and then raising some improving plan for its optimization. So that it can realize the sustainable growth by making full use of its own resources. And on this basis, it can be provided as the reference for other software vendors in the industry for distribution channel optimization.
