Study On The Method Of Small Project Management And Utilization Of Internet Technology

Project Management is now being one of the most key function and process in the enterprise management field. There are already plenty of study and mature theories of Standard, Methodology and Practice for it.In our daily working, not everyone is involved in the big projects; instead most people are working on routine jobs, small tasks or projects. But there is still no much research on this area. So it’s worth studying the management of small scale projects by using project management methodology.This paper is expected to identify the definition and characteristic of internal Small-Scale Project based on my working experience. Then in Chapter 3 we will conclude a management method named "Small-Scale Project Management Simplified Practice" . By following this method; we are able to manage our small project more easily and efficiently without discarding the key value of "project management"IT technology has significant impact on history of project management developing. We will discuss how new IT technology (such as Web2.0, SaaS) can help our small project management, and how we can practice the method we discussed in Chapter 3 in our daily working.The key of the paper is "practicing" and "applicability", so this paper can also be the reference for those who also want to manage the small projects better.
