Research On The Relationship Between Energy Production, Energy Consumption And Economic Growth In Liaoning Province

With the deepening understanding of global energy issues, the relationship between energy and economy has become the focus of world attention. In China, high energy consumption, low utilization of extensive economic growth mode has not been effectively to change for a long time, the energy production and energy consumption are still not very reasonable, the low efficiency of energy utilization, environmental pollution caused by energy still exists, therefore, it is a great significance to accelerate the transformation of economic development mode, develop new energy, improve energy efficiency, make economy develop sustainable. This paper bases on Liaoning province energy production and energy consumption, focuses on the relationship between energy production and the economic growths, and the relationship between energy consumption and the economic growths, makes data analysis of Liaoning province energy production and energy consumption from 1978 to 2013, summarizes the causes of irrational energy production and energy consumption in Liaoning province based on the above analysis and puts forward valuable policy advice at last.This paper selects total energy production and consumption data, four kinds of energy production and consumption data and economic growth data in Liaoning province from 1978 to 2013, focuses on the relationship between the energy production, energy consumption and economic growth. This paper first introduces the background, significance, summary of research methods and literature studies about the relationship between energy and the economic growths. Then this paper introduces the current situation of total economic growth, total energy and four kinds of energy in Liaoning province and systemic theory analyzes the relationship between four kinds of energy and economic growth. Furthermore the paper uses econometric of ADF test and Granger causality analysis of the relationship between total energy production, consumption and economic growth, the relationship between four kinds of energy and economic growth, at last analyzes the results. Then the paper uses grey correlation degree analysis of the relationship between various factors in the energy production, consumption structure and economic growth, and concludes the sequence between various factors in the energy production, consumption and economic growth.And the paper summarizes the causes of irrational energy production and energy consumption in Liaoning province is the extensive economic growth mode, the irrational industrial structure, limited scientific and technological level, and the energy market system. Finally, based on the above conclusions, the paper puts forward some policy recommendations for promoting Liaoning province energy production and energy consumption rationalization: the transformation of economic growth mode, developing circular economy, adjusting industrial structure, promoting the second industrial diversification; improving the level of technology, developing new energy; improving energy market mechanism.
