Research On The Development Of Railway Logistics Finance Under Freight Reform

As a major part of the transportation system, the railway plays an irrepla ceable role in the development of C hina’s economy and society. With the continuous reform and development, the railway has achieved a great deal in the freight transport and production, infrastructure, tec hnological innovation and so on. However, the railway freight transport also exist s some problems while it is rapidly developing. In order to better adapt to the development of modern logistics industry, and to enhance the level of logistics services, C hinese Railway Corporation proposed railway freight reform to improve the current situation of railway freight transport through a number of reform measures.This paper analyzes and researches issues in the development of railway logistics finance based on the background of freight reform. The article holds that China’s logistics industry competition is growing, and the rising prices lead to logistics enterprise’s profit space is compressed further. More and more logistics enterprises develop logistics finance to enhance market competitiveness and create more revenue. For the railways, the logistics finance helps to improve their profitability and logistics service level, and to stabilize and expand customer source, as well as to open up new space for development, and it will provide a good solution for the railway to improve the existing main problems.The emphasis of this paper mainly includes the following three aspects: the first part, the development of rail freight and the existing main problems are analyzed, And this paper points out the significance o f the development of logistics and freight railway reform brings opportunities. The second part, this paper combines with the actual situation of the railway, and firstly studies the subject of railway logistics finance, environmental designing, role orientation and business choice, and through profits from the domestic and foreign logistics financial success stories, the paper analyses the mode of railway logistics finance operations : the logistics finance development process is divided into three stages: the exploration stage, development stage and mature stage, and the paper makes the choice of each of the three stage of the logistics financial operation mode, and analyzes the operational processes and their advantages and disadvantages. The third part, it makes simple predictions of the effect of the launch rail logistics finance, and points out the problems during the process of rail logistics financial and proposed countermeasures. I hope this article can provide some reference for the railway to develop new business through the above studies.
