According to the ’blue book of China’s society analysis and forecast’ published by Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, in 2000, the number of elderly people aged 60 and over was 129 million, accounting for 10.2% of the population; in 2005, the population of the elderly was 147 million, accounting for 11.19% of the population, in 2010, the elderly population increased to 174 million, accounting for 12.78% of the population. It is estimated that the elderly population of China will reach 215 million, accounting for 15.28% of the population. The elderly population data from 2000 to 2015 can be seen that our country is aging rapidly. As its population ages. The elderly market is becoming a hot topic noticed by all the present society. As a special consumer group, the aged industry has received more and more attention. Especially in recent years, with standards of living improving and consumer perception changing, the demand for the elderly tourist is more and more strong. The number of elder tourists accounted for 25% of the country’s tourist. It shows that elderly tourism industry has great potential to develop and will become one of the target markets in future. However, as there exists high risk, low profit, there are a few tourism products for the elderly. There are no proper tourism products for the elderly to choose or they can’t buy the satisfactory tourism products. It reflects the elderly tourist market would be very promising in future.According to literature review, it is observed that it has already had countless study about tourism market and travel agencies marketing and senior tourists market. However, it lacks of unified and centralized study about old age traveling product. Thus, the idea of this article is to solve practical problems of the elderly tourism product in Ningxia A travel with collecting a lot of relative information and discussing 4P theory and STP theory and the related marketing concepts of travel agency in detail. It analyzes the elderly tourism product in Ningxia A travel agency from several aspects, such as product, price, place, promotion, finding out the present problems of travel agency. Based on these problems, this paper puts forward some valuable strategies and suggestions. Hope these strategies and suggestions can be of help to solve the existing problems of Ningxia A travel agency and enhance brand popularity.
