Analysis Of Correlation Effect Of Sugar Industry And Logistics Information Service Industry In Guangxi

As the central government sets Guangxi as the worldwide sugar base since 1998, sugar industry in Guangxi has being the dominance of the country for 20 years. It has become one of the world’s most sugar-producing regions. The State Council classified the logistics public information platform as one of the nine key projects in the "logistics industry restructuring and revitalization plan" in 2009. The National Development and Reform Commission with the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued "on the issuance of the food industry with’Twelfth Five Year Plan’notice " and it demanded to develop sugar industry, especially in Guangxi. In this background, the article will combine sugar industry with logistics information industry to research the qualitatinve and quantitative relationship between sugar industry and logistics information service industry in Guangxi.The paper firstly introduces the theory of logistics information and input-output, then analyzes the general situation of sugar logistics information service in Guangxi. After that, the paper applies econometric models to predict the output value of the sugar industry in Guangxi. Then the paper analyses the quantity of the correlation effects of sugar and logistics information service in Guangxi through input-output model. In addition, it predicts the variation of output value of the logistics information service industry by using the input-output result. Finally, the paper puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions for sugar industry and logistics information service industry in Guangxi from the perspective of regional advantages, technology development, personnel training and policy support.By using the input-output model to analyze the association effect of sugar industry and logistics information service related industries from dependence, three-dimensional structure, ripple effect and changes in output and price, the main conclusion is that in order to maintain the position of sugar industry in Guangxi and better improve the output value, it is time to accelerate the development of logistics information services industry. Based on the forecast of the change of output value in the logistics information service industry, the main conclusion is that the logistics information service industry would generally rise in the next few years, and sugar value in Guangxi will present rising trend accompanied by the development of logistics information service industry.
