With the development of our economy and the improvement of people’s income, the profound changes of people’s social life style,In February 2013, General Office of the State Council formally promulgated " The National Tourism Leisure Outline" (2013-2020), the domestic leisure travel market is gradually formed, and leisure tourism has gradually become a way of life. At the same time, Since 2010, Chengde has set up the purpose of an international tourism city and take leisure tourism as its first development industry. Additionally, leisure tourism is also a pillar of Chengde tourism industry. However, due to the lack of market research, the current leisure tourism’s products in Chengde are not sufficient, which lead to the weaken competitiveness of Chengde tourism. According to the survey data show that in 2014 the city female consumption, tourism has become the largest female consumer spending, at the same time, another data show that consumer industries more than 80% decisions are made by women themselves, women have become the main force in the tourism market.Therefore, this paper attempts to study the leisure tourism behavior of college female teachers in Chengde as the starting point, analysis of the similarities and differences of their behavior, summarize their behavior characteristics in leisure tourism.Leisure tourism development countermeasures are put forward according to this group provide an idea and method of market segmentation and the future development of leisure tourism in Chengde in the process of development.This report will take the group of college female teachers in Chengde as a research object. the questionnaire’s design is based on the aspects of leisure tourism attitudes, tourism motivations, tourism preferences and tourism influencing factors to inspect. By use of EXCEL analysis tools, carried out a statistical analysis on the result of the investigation. The study found that:This thesis analyzes the leisure tourism behavior of college female teachers in Chengde, and shopping motivation is strong, and focus on the motivation of self-development,Chengde-around destinations, high frequency, identical travel time and product preferences in different age groups, high consumption of family-unit traveling. And puts forward the relevant countermeasures, such as multi-level, multi-dimensional leisure tourism product development, the implementation of targeted marketing strategy, government leading, perfect the structure of tourism industry, the importance of tourism safety, strengthen the tourism safety management of tourism market development strategy.
