The government has attached more and more importance on tourism development with the deepening of Reform and Opening-up. Today tourism which does not produce pollution directly enjoys a bright future and is regarded as a sun-rising industry. However in its development, there are always some problems to be solved. This paper aims to research on the tourism consumption behavior of college teachers and on the basis of relevant literature do some empirical study. The analysis on tourism motives, attitudes, partiality, mode choices and consumption behavior has been made to further study the differentiation on the influence of college teachers’ title, income and family status.The paper consists of four chapters. The first chapter is the introduction part which includes the research background, significance, the research question and research purpose. Besides it presents the literature review regarding to researches situation both from home and abroad from tourism consumption behavior and tourism decision-making behavior etc.The second chapter includes the theoretical framework, research methods, and analysis. The third chapter is based on the data analysis and focused the research on tourism consumption behavior of teachers in a university in Lanzhou. Firstly the paper sketches out the sample data, then describe in a general way on tourism attitudes, motives, partiality, mode choices and consumption structure of the tourism consumption behavior of college teachers in a university in Lanzhou. Finally analyze a general regularity of the tourism consumption behavior. The fourth part concludes the whole paper and generalizes the conclusions and the defective parts of the paper.
