Tourismification is a process that in the interactive relationship between tourism supply and demand to realized the economic effect, social effect, environment effect and the consciousness of tourism effect.In this process, the overall level of tourism industry continues to improve, tourism space and scale expanded, the masses tourism consumption concept and consciousness become universal, popular tourist attraction and reception facilities gradually improved, the degrees of fusion with tertiary industry is deepened ceaselessly, the social contribution rate of tourism continued to rise, which is the process of tourismification. Today, more and more tourismification phenomenon is obviously accompanied with industrialization, informatization and urbanization, which is the direction of China’s tourism industry development in the future for a long period of time, so that the research on the level of tourismification become more significant.With the rapid development of social economy, relationship between tourism and economy, society,environment is getting more and more close, only use the number of tourists and tourism income is not enough to measure the level of a single index of tourism.Based on tourist density index, passenger turnover, rate of travel, tourism Engel coefficient, practitioners of tourism industry to the total proportion of employees and the correlation coefficient of the tourism industry and the tertiary industry, this thesis selectd the 6 index and established a set of index system to measure the level of tourismification. This paper used the Analytic Hierarchy Process and Entropy method to determine the comprehensive weights of evaluation indexes, futher calculate he level of tourismification in China and the 31 provinces from 1999 to 2013. From the dimension of time and space, this paper analysis the level and pattern evolution of tourismification in China. Finally puts forward the countermeasures and suggestions to promote the rational development of Chinese tourismification. The main conclusions of this study are as follows:(1)Tourismification is not only a phenomenon, but also a process,which means the expansion of tourism space, tourism scale, tourism consumption and tourism awareness; the improve of tourist attraction and reception facilities; the integration degree increase between tourism and the tertiary industry; also the process of overall level of tourism increased and the quality of residents’ life widely promoted.(2)The level of tourismification in China generally increased from 1999 to 2013,it can be roughly divided into four stages:low level flat fluctuation stage in 1999 to 2002;down to the freezing point stage in 2003;low level but steady-state growth stage in 2004 to 2007 and rapidly rise to the higher level stage in 2008 to 1013.(3)From the perspective of time, the level of Chinese tourismification gradually increase,but the growth rate are differences.lt can be divided into three types:rose sharply; steadily improve and Increased slowly; Beijing, Shanghai mono-pole superiority is obvious, the remaining provinces ranking were changed in different degree, the rank-size pattern of tourismfication changed significantly.(4)From the perspective of space, the level of China’s tourismification has obvious agglomeration and in the lower concentration level. The most obvious highest value area is the Yangtze River Delta region and the Beijing Tianjin region, the lowest value area is the Gansu, Qinghai, Ningxia three provinces. The gap between East China and West China is big. The eastern coast has clearly formed a uplift tourismification belt. These provinces’tourism development rapidly. The analysis of spatial clustering found that the rank-size distribution of Chinese tourismification level is more reasonable and advanced direction.(5)The level of economic development and infrastructure construction, the differences of local policy and special events are the main factors which affected the level of tourismification.Each provinces of China are influenced by different factors in different degree, which directly lead to the differences in the provinces tourismification level, then leads to the spatial pattern change of Chinese tourismification level.(6)The premise to promote Chinese tourismification rational development must recognize the objective difference exists between the provinces and strive to enhance the level of social and economic development. Accelerate the improvement of infrastructure construction. Accurately pinpoint the future direction of China’s tourism industry development. Seize the opportunity, play a positive role of special events. Breaking the provincial administrative boundaries, enhanced regional co-operation to achieve win-win cooperation. Guide the tourism industry on the road to a quality and efficiency development., to promote the tourism urbanization all-round and harmonious development.In the future research, need to be deepen the concept and connotation of tourism, build a more comprehensive and rational evaluation index system, select a larger time span and more representative of the year in details in this paper, combined with the actual situation puts forward countermeasures and more in line with the development level of tourism.
