A famous Greek philosopher once said "Change is the only constant in lift". The sentence translates to Chinese is“变化是生命中唯一不变的”.This is deep explaining the importance of changing, which is the essence of lean manufacturing.While with the deep innovation of industrial production, the companies’management levels have got more and more improvement. However with the competition more and more intense, from the outlook of the whole area of manufacturing, more and more companies facing the challenge is not only looking for more production capacity, but also manufacturing plant, working, production line and etc. While the market is gradually mature, we need more focus on how to continue improve product quality, how to continue grow up our production efficiencies, reduce waste and etc, this is the only way to make sure the manufacturing companies get a leg up on the competition flood.To continue improve the production efficiencies without increase investment means we have to rethink our working methods and management style. During chasing the new objective, we find the orientation through lean manufacturing.Lean manufacturing is actually quite simple...relentlessly work on eliminating waste from the manufacturing process. By using lean manufacturing techniques and other manufacturing best practices that enable you to deliver higher quality products at significantly lower costs. Now that is something to get excited about!Based on the above background, the dissertation made the analysis and investigation through the actual practical applications and case studies on ZB production by using literature research method, visualization methods, case study and etc. There are also introduced same lean tools such as fish born chart and VSM analysis to find out the root cause of production process and take corrective and preventive actions accordinglyThe dissertation is divided into six chapters. The1st chapter:introduction. This part makes notes on research background, research purposes, research significance and research methods. The2nd chapter:literature research of the research of lean production and improvement through at home and abroad, analyzes the relevant concepts; including lean manufacturing and lean improvement. The3rd chapter:the ZB company production system existing situation and problems analysis. Mainly introduces the ZB Company and its production system operation, found systematic problems at the same time. The4th chapter: Analyze the root cause and key problems on production system and take corresponding corrective and preventive actions. The5th chapter:the lean production system improvement measurement and effect analysis. Use lean tools to settle existing problems and take comparison between before and after. The6th chapter:conclusion. This chapter will make the summarization of the research results; point out the improvement area and the direction and outlook for future researching.
