Study On The Safety Supervision Of Zhoushan’s Export Aquatic Products

Zhoushan is the largest fishing, processing and sales base for aquatic products. The annual output exceeds1,200,000tons, accounting for one-tenth of the whole country. The annual processing output is nearly1,000,000tons. Aquatic products processing industry is the traditional industry in Zhoushan, with a long industrial chain and considerable workers. In recent years, there were many food safety incidents both in China and abroad and this problem receives great attention. Therefore, to summarize and analyze the quality and safety of Zhoushan export aquatic products and ensuring normal export is of great importance in promoting the development of export-oriented economy and maintaining fishing area social stability.This article summarizes the development situation of Zhoushan export aquatic products and analyzes problems and reasons combining disqualification and the report situation by the overseas. Also, according to the products properties of food safety, using theories of information asymmetry, public advantages and public governance and combining with successful measures and experiences of developed countries, this article discusses how to ensure quality and security of Zhoushan export aquatic products and proposes some relevant recommendations.
