In21st century, a rapidly changing and developing era, all companies need to follow the pace of the development of the times and to seek constantly updated management philosophy to ensure their competitive advantages. In this context, performance management theory, as a mature theoretical system, provides ideas to company managers and therefore was widespread concerned, and achieved satisfactory results in practical applications. This article use performance management theory to make diagnosis of performance management model for CH Company as a case, and furthermore to identify defects and problems which, combined with the specific circumstances of the company, targeted to optimize its performance management system.CH Company, a limited company, engaged in consuming glass products production and sales, has a certain reputation and influence in the region with the rapid development in recent years. The company has been expanding with the increasing market demand. Due to the rapid increase in production capacity, while difficult to effectively reduce the defect rate, high production costs, apparently the original performance management system has been unable to meet the requirements of a good development of the company. After resolution of the company leadership research to develop the company’s future strategic goals:try to realize zero defect product quality and to develop innovative products to enhance customer satisfaction. Based on this strategy, any of company administration should work to improve and optimize the company’s original performance management system and make it effective, which is particularly urgent and of important practical significance.This paper is divided into six chapters. The first chapter introduces the background and status of performance management research topics; the second chapter concepts performance management system and theory, and what factors affect the system; the third chapter describes the CH company’s organizational structure, human resources, employee performance management status, cause of the problem by combining the company’s actual operating performance, to find defects and problems existed in their systems, and analyze the results; in fourth the first chapter analyzes the company’s current context, in accordance with its strategic objectives and put forward ideas to optimize employee performance management system, to establish performance management system objectives and to optimize the design process. Section two is using objective analysis to establish the company’s staff level KPI (Key Performance Indicators), which is the original performance indicators to supplement and adjustment. After doing the basic work, it begins with all aspects of corporate performance management system to optimize the design, specifically including from performance planning, promotion, evaluation and application to the evaluation results, to establish a mechanism for performance management representations; the fifth chapter gives the optimized performance management systems implemented measures to ensure its effective and stable operation. It should be worked as the company’s performance management practices and content management system in place to improve the management of great importance to strengthen the mobilization of participants and training, and the establishment of a performance management-oriented corporate culture, to strengthen communication and awareness of all aspects of performance management. Finally, the article summarizes the research results, and oriented the development of possible research. Furthermore, it foresees the road of CH performance management in the future.In this paper, the research results have practical significance for the CH company’s performance management, but also provide a reference value to the companies in similar background.
