Research On The Cultural Tourism Industry Development Strategy Of Hengshui Lake

With the development process of the reform and opening-up, the domestic tourismindustry has achieved unprecedented development and progress. Especially in recent years,tourism industry is constantly expanding, and gradually takes to the development path oflegalization, systemization and standardization. The stronger employment effect and linkageeffects of tourism industry got around the government’s attention and concern. At present,about70%of the areas in the country are able to accurately locate the tourism industry as aleading industry and pillar industry. In order to standardize the development order of thetourism industry, the State Council promulgated the Opinions of the State Council onAccelerating the Development of Tourism Industry in2009. From the perspective of nationalstrategy, tourism is built into a strategic pillar industry and modern service industry.Hengshui city in Hebei province has a long history and profound cultural background,and it is now a both traditional and modern city being rich in tourism resources. In the21stcentury, the stability of economic development and the increasingly social progress in NorthChina make its traditional cultural characteristics and the modern civilization get fully mixed,thus Hengshui gradually becomes an important central city, full of vigor and vitality. Facedwith the complex and changeful environment for development, hengshui people find theirown development path which accords with their characteristics through decades ofexploration and search. Although the city put forward the development theme of prosperingthe city with industry, from the resource perspective, hengshui city has more diversifiedtourism resources, the development of which can provide more diversified economic growthfor the city development.But from the perspective of current developing situation of hengshui lake, there are still alot of questions on the overall layout and development of the tourism industry that should besolved, such as how to build hengshui into a new cultural tourism city by sketching theindustry layout both scientifically and reasonably; How to improve the productivity oftourism and tourism products to ensure the sustainable and healthy development of hengshuitourism; How to set up the tourism industry development system and so on, which are all subjects about hengshui tourism that need to be thought deeply. Especially under the premiseof the comprehensive tourism development in the surrounding cities, if we are to stand out inthe fierce competition, we should make continuous innovations, follow the development lawof the tourism industry, and analyze our own characteristics comprehensively andsystematically, thus to speed the development and to deal with the constantly emergingcompetition and challenges.On the basis of summarizing the predecessors’ research results, the author studies andexplores the development strategies to improve hengshui tourism industry from the aspects ofdisadvantages and advantages, opportunities and challenges of tourism development. With themethod of SWOT, the writer analyzes and studies the cultural tourism industry of hengshuicity comprehensively, and intends to fully understand the basic position of the various factorsin the city tourism development. Based on the present cultural tourism development ofHengshui, this research is meant to ensure the hengshui tourism become a well laid-out,function focused, unique, and increasingly beneficial industry. And this study is also aimed atproviding an important basis for comprehensive regulation and optimization of the tourismindustry and making important reference and promoting effects for related studies. The authorhopes to make a beneficial theoretical attempt and exploration to promote the development ofrelated fields.
