A Research Based On Agricultural Production Efficiency Of Modern Agriculture Supporting System In Henan Province

With international food safety issues being increasingly prominent and China’s Agricultural Modernization process accelerating, promoting modern agricultural supporting system of major grain producing areas becomes the guarantee of food security. And it is also the guarantee of increasing of modern agricultural efficiency, peasant income and maintenance of social stability. Henan Province is one of China’s major grain producing areas, shouldering the task of ensuring food security. Recently, food production of Henan Province has been at the forefront and takes on growth trends. However, there are still many restricts of modern agriculture exist. Based on the construction of Henan modern agriculture supporting system, this article offers proposal to complete the modern agriculture of Henan province from the perspective of modern agricultural production efficiency evaluation.This article mainly consists six parts. Research situation of modern agriculture supporting system both at home and abroad is states in the first part. The definition of modern agriculture and modern agriculture supporting system is in the second part. The outline of modern agriculture is constructed in the third part using qualitative analysis method. The total factor productivity of modern agriculture production in Henan Province is quantitatively analyzed in the forth part using Malmquistindex. The proposal of modern agriculture supporting system is stated in the fifth part. The last part is the conclusion and outlook.With the Qualitative and quantitative analysis of modern agriculture supporting system of Henan Province, the following conclusions are reached:(1)Inner connections are existed between modern agriculture supporting system and modern agriculture production efficiency;(2)Taking Henan Province as a whole for the study, modern agricultural productivity showed a slight growth trend;(3)Taking different cities of Henan Province for the study,lack of efficiency is widely existed in quite a few cities. Thus, completing modern agriculture supporting system and increasing agricultural production efficiency are the keys to the development of modern agriculture in Henan Province.
