Agriculture is the foundation of the national economy. It also plays an important role in national economy. In 2016, “Around the construction of modern agriculture, accelerate the transformation of agricultural development mode.” was put forward in The Central File No. 1. As the guiding ideology of agricultural development, the document defines the future development of agriculture in China. Agriculture as the leading industry of Xinjiang corps, the level of agricultural modernization has been ahead in our country. The production efficiency of modern agriculture is more greatly improved than the traditional agricultural, and the development of agriculture is directly influenced by the efficiency of agricultural production. Therefore, the development of efficient modern agriculture is the inevitable trend and direction of the future development of corps agriculture. Based on this, study of the Corps’ modern agricultural development present situation, estimates Corps agricultural total factor productivity, compare the division of agricultural production efficiency difference, for the Corps of modern high-efficiency agriculture, stability, sustained, comprehensive and healthy development has important practical significance.This paper is based on 2000-2014 in Xinjiang corps of agricultural input data, using data envelopment analysis(DEA), combined with the Malmquist productivity index to conduct quantitative study, select the total agricultural output value as output variables to agricultural workers, rural consumption, effective irrigation area, the use of pesticides, agricultural chemical fertilizer, agricultural plastic film the use amount of the total power of agricultural machinery and agricultural technical personnel number as input variables, the Corps estimates nearly 15 years of agricultural TFP, which is decomposed into pure technical efficiency and scale efficiency index, index, index of technological progress, further analysis of the composition of growth, difference of the division of agricultural production efficiency comparison Corps. At the same time, the key select the Corps Second Division, eighth division, Ninth division of investigation of three agricultural production areas, in-depth understanding of the development of local agricultural industry.Analysis showed that: corps’ agricultural total factor productivity was steadily increasing during 2000-2014. The top three ranking of total factor productivity is the second division, the first division, the eighth division. The last rank three is the tenth division, the fourth division, the third division. There is a big difference in the efficiency of agricultural production in the Corps division. Analysis on the effective utilization rate of agricultural input elements in the corps: the Second division, the Fifth Division, and the Twelfth division of the agricultural resource allocation have been a serious redundancy. Pesticide, electric power, agricultural plastic film, agricultural workers, agricultural machinery and other input elements of the effective use of the factor and technical personnel to play the efficiency of both the redundancy.Finally, this research puts forward the appropriate adjustment of agricultural inputs in Corps, to reduce the input redundancy, improve the efficiency of resource utilization and output efficiency. Combined with the actual situation of each division, they should work around their own industries, resources, technology and location advantages, to accelerate the development and development of modern agriculture. This is the most important task of Corps’ agricultural efficient, sustainable and comprehensive and stable development.
