The Comprehensive Evaluation Of The Modern Agriculture In Hohhot

Report of the Seventeenth Party Congress stressed that the building of new socialist countryside, the development of the modern agriculture and the prosperity of the rural economy are the top priority. Promoting modern agriculture construction and conforming the objective trend of chinese economic development are the basic way to increase the farmers’ income and the important measure to improve the agricultural production capacity.Agricultural modernization is the basic content of China’s modernization. Hohhot is the capital of the Inner Mongolia autonomous region, and it is the political, economic, cultural and commercial center here. Comparing with the second and the third industry, agricultural development’s level is relatively behind. The promotion of modern agricultural development of Hohhot is of great significance by increasing agricultural production level to increase farmer’s income and realize the sustainable agricultural development.Based on the previous research, this study will use modern agriculture theory as direction. First of all, the paper will analyze the advantages of modern agriculture conditions of Hohhot from several aspects, which are the economic strength, energy resources, science and technology, agriculture, and explore the achievements and existed problems of the modern agricultural development in Hohhot.Secondly, in-depth understanding of Hohhot’s agricultural status from the quantitative angle. The construction of modern agriculture evaluation index system on Hohhot is an important premise of opening up new prospects for modern agricultural. From the connotation of modern agriculture, the article constructed an evaluation index system of six major elements’ module, totally21secondary indicators, which is a three levels’ of modern agriculture in Hohhot, and it evaluates Hohhot’s modern agricultural development comprehensively from two levels in vertical and horizontal. The conclusion is that the development of modern agriculture of Hohhot is into developmental stage.Finally, in view of the existed problems, this article proposes that the development of modern agriculture in Hohhot should be in direction of the cycle agriculture and leisure sightseeing agriculture. The paper proposes the following strategies and measures: increasing construction force about agricultural facilities; improving the comprehensive production capacity of agriculture; increasing scientific and technological extended efforts; strengthening the agricultural infrastructure’s construction; stabilizing and consummating the contracted management system of rural land; carrying out each policy of the benefits to peasants.
