The resultsshowed that content of As, Pb, Hg, Cr, Cd in the water and soil, and the content ofpesticides residues in natural pasture were lower than the national standard limits. There were neither veterinary drug residues nor prohibited materials detected in themeat. However,a part of pesticides in planted forage and grass were over the nationalstandard limits suggesting some potential risk harmful to the animal production inherdsmen settlement farms. It is necessary to take early controlling measures. Takentogether, the living and animal production in herdsmen settlement farms are inaccordance with reqirements regarding the quality and safety for animalproduction, which is in turn beneficial for improving the nomadic people’slivelihood, grassland ecological environment and the sustainable aniaml huabandry. |
