The automotive logistics concept is a modern automotive logistics transportation, warehousing, storage, handling, packaging, product distribution and logistics information management in an integration, is the bridge of raw materials suppliers, manufacturers, wholesalers, parts supplier, logistics companies and end-user, it is the synthesis from production to consumption of each circulation. Inventory management technology is recognized the most complex field in automotive logistics management. For the long time, inventory management is totally independent in the majorities of automotive logistics enterprises, every chain has its own inventories, such as retailers, wholesalers, and suppliers with various management strategies, which make it hard, even impossible to reflect the demand of market and react to the wider environment. With the increasing exterior impact on the development of enterprises, effective inventory management will enhance the competitiveness of the enterprise.Our national enterprises have to survive by reducing the cost, enhancing the quality and the brand in increasingly competitive surroundings. Recent studies on supply chain management (SCM) aim at managing and coordinating the movement of materials, information and funds across the supply chain better and faster. Through the rational utilization of resources, customers-oriented SCM is established to serve clients and lower the cost. TYBS in Shenyang exists under such circumstances. Facing the change of industry environment and the growing competition of globalization trend, how logistics management system in automobile enterprises responds to the challenges in globalization is the aim of this paper.Based on VMI (vendor managed inventory), focuses on the logistics of automotive parts and components procurement, also the sale of the logistics of inventory management aspects. VMI before and after summing up the implementation of the cost of logistics enterprises in different aspects of performance and in the process of implementation of the VMI experience, through the optimization model to avoid the implementation of VMI in the process of the defects and problems in order to design a car for our logistics guidance of the Automotive Logistics Management. In this paper, do the following:(1) According to the famous car manufacturer Shanghai General Motors Northern Company, own logistics management and dealer inventory management. Do a detailed description of the company of Shanghai GM on how to reduce the cost of logistics and automotive logistics business to be innovative and use of the status quo;(2) Analysis of the domestic automotive logistics management in the existence of the advantages and disadvantages. Integrating theory with practice, more conducive to the development of logistics management in the automotive industry an effective way;(3) VMI model of the car before and after the implementation of logistics management for comparison, the results of the optimization of the cost. VMI prove that the application of the necessary logistics and automotive.By studying how to establish automobile logistics system in TYBS in Shenyang, this paper will provide the bases both in theories and practices for TYBS and other similar enterprises; meanwhile, it will offer the newest thoughts and methods on the strategies of automobile logistics in TYBS and other similar enterprises.
