| Inventory control plays a vital role in the production and management process of Chinese automobile manufacturing enterprises. It is not only related to the cost control and meets the needs of daily operation, but more directly related to the realization of business strategic goals of automobile manufacturing enterprises. It is on the premise of meeting customer service requirements and aims to improve the market competitiveness of enterprises through monitoring the inventory level, making every effort to reduce it and to improve the efficiency of the logistics system. The emergence of supply chain management puts forward new requirements for the traditional inventory management. Since supply chain management can reduce inventory costs, improve service concept, and so on, it has been recognized as a new managing concept and method by domestic and foreign theorists and the business community. It also has become the focus of the academic research and practice.This paper analyzes the present inventory managing situation of C Automobile Co. Ltd., finds out its deficiency, and studies the modern theory of supply chain management as well as the new model of inventory control. It puts forward the concrete scheme suitable for the company’s inventory control after studying their respective implementation, compared with the present situation of the company. This solution facilitates the company’s flexible management, the compression to the total stock of money effectively by adding hub so as to strengthen mutual cooperation between each node. At the same time, according to the plan, constructing the optimization models of inventory control and eliminating the manufacturer’s inventory cost and shortage cost reduced the capital cost and dealers’inventory cost, adjusted the transportation and information rebuilding costs, so the total cost is reduced.In the end, this paper confirmed the effectiveness of the model through sample data and provided reference for other same type enterprises in inventory optimization. |
