To enhance the competitiveness of international tourism service trade is a key problem in Anhui province transforming from the large province of tourism to the strong province of tourism. At present, the competitiveness of international tourism service trade in Anhui province still has the big gap with China’s strong provinces and cities of tourism, which embodies in the following characteristics:the total export amount of the tourism service trade is too small; the inbound tourism consumption structure is not reasonable; the market of tourist source is not rich; and the development structure of the tourism industry is not reasonable.In order to analyze the reasons the gaps in the competitiveness of Anhui province international tourism service trade, this article analyzes and studies the competitiveness of Anhui province international tourism service trade by using research methods such as literature research method, empirical research method and comparative analysis method. On the one hand, through the evaluation of several indexes such as domestic market share, the contribution rate of exports, export advantage variation index and comparative advantage index, this article explores the actual situation of Anhui tourism service trade competitiveness from the perspective of "result", and clarifies the accurate positioning of Anhui tourism service trade in the international and domestic market. On the other hand, through establishing the evaluation system based on tourism supply, demand, environment, service object, related auxiliary and other factors, this article explores the reasons for the poor competitiveness of Anhui tourism service trade from the perspective of "reason".In the content arrangement, this article is divided into six parts. The first part is the introduction, which introduces the background and significance of topic selection, research methods and contents of this paper. The second part briefly introduces the theories related to this paper. The third part analyzes Anhui tourism industry and present situation of tourism service trade, introduces the basic situation and summarizes the existing problems. The fourth part analyzes the evaluation and influence factors of Anhui tourism service trade competitiveness, evaluates the actual competitiveness from the perspective of "result", and explores the causes from the perspective of "reason". The fifth part is the suggestions of promoting Anhui tourism service trade, which puts forward the concrete strategies to improve the competitiveness according to the above analysis. The sixth part is the conclusion, which summarizes the main work and results of this paper and proposes the improvement direction for the deficiencies.
