In recent years, Liaoning's tourism service trade has got rapid development and become an important sector in foreign trade, the reception number of international tourists and foreign exchange earnings increased rapidly. Since 2000, foreign exchange earnings in tourism of Liaoning have tripled. But compared with other cities, competitiveness of Liaoning's tourism service trade is still weak. There are still many urgent problems, such as export volume of tourism service trade is small, regional development is uneven, inter-city cooperation is poor, tourism infrastructure is weak and so on. These issues become the constraints in the development of tourism service trade in Liaoning province.In order to increase the competitiveness of tourism service trade in Liaoning province, this thesis analysis the development situation and existing problems of tourism service trade firstly, then make use of the related competitiveness indicators to do research on their competitiveness. This paper use qualitative and quantitative methods to analysis the affecting factors on the development of tourism service trade in Liaoning. According to Cho,D.Sung's "The Nine-Factor Model", we set up the nine affecting elements. Then we use the elements expect the government and opportunity to set up a three-level index system, and conducted grey quantitative research. The secondary indicators include tourism resources endowment, domestic demand, intellectual element, capital element, corporate profits, industrial correlativeness degree and ecological environment. Tourism resources endowment is expressed as existing resources condition, domestic demand is expressed as domestic tourism revenue, intellectual element include the students number of higher education schools and secondary vocational schools, industrial correlativeness degree include the correlation coefficient with the retail trade and restaurant industry, the correlation coefficient with the transport and communication, corporate profits is expressed as the overall labor productivity of tourism enterprises, ecological environment is expressed as per capita ecological park with green space. The empirical results show the correlation order between seven elements and tourism foreign exchange earnings is as follows:intellectual element>corporate profits>ecological environment>capital element>domestic demand>industrial correlativeness degree> tourism resources endowment.With the result of the empirical analysis, this thesis puts forward some corresponding suggestions, such as integrating intelligence, improving the profits of tourism business, developing and protecting the ecological environment, and strengthening government guidance and industry associations,...
