Analysis Of Agricultural Price Volatility And Regulation

Agricultural product is not only people living in the most important necessities, but also necessary for economic development of important industrial raw materials. Agricultural prices is an important economic variables of agricultural development as well as the national economy. Lower agricultural prices will affect the enthusiasm of farmers to grow agricultural products, thereby affecting the safety of agricultural products. Agricultural prices are too high, not only seriously affect people’s living standards, but also bring instability to the society. In recent years, prices of agricultural products worldwide presents upward current. This round of agricultural price raising were overall rising trend, not only the price of food crops, as well as agro-food soaring, involves not only commodities, but also related to careen agricultural products. Based on this background, the issue of government regulation and the factors affecting China’s agricultural price volatility have important practical and theoretical significance.Based on the above phenomenon, the study of this paper is mainly to answer three questions:firstly, what characterizes China’s agricultural price in recent years; secondly, how the volatility of agricultural prices affect farmers’ incomes and the positivity of farmers farming; thirdly, the government should regulate how best to price fluctuations of agricultural products. For these three questions, this article analysis of the characteristics of China’s agricultural price volatility from the perspective of agricultural structure and agricultural perspective of industry chain composition, to investigate the relationship between price and prices of agricultural products in the chain variety of agricultural products, to analysis prices between the upstream and downstream pathways and effects by an empirical analysis, have the conclusion that retail prices of agricultural products is the biggest factor affecting agricultural prices chain conclusions. Finally, how to regulate the price fluctuations of agricultural products in accordance with the above conclusion.
