With the common application of permanent magnet traction machine, mini machine room elevator are more and more popular in elevator market, and become the new favorite of this industry. S company is the China factory invested by global famous elevator manufacturers, in order to deal with the fierce competitive environment of elevator industry, enhance its ability to compete for domestic market share, S company also decided to develop this product. However, the entire project development process didn’t go smoothly, exposed many problems of product development, these problems lead to delays for launching new product to market.Based on the detail description of the development case and discussed from project start to pilot elevator onsite belongs to the project development phase of the project management and process control plan, through carding product development processes, the case analysis and investigation, Summed up the problems existed in S company which restrict new product smoothly developed, such as product quality control mechanism is not perfect, the key parts are inadequate delivery risk prevention and inexpedient human resource management system.Through checking a lot of references and interviewing to senior project management experts, analysis and research these problems one by one. The given solutions regarding the company S current status of project development should follow the below three aspects. Product quality control need to organize all relevant departments work together, follow the quality control process perform the function for quality control, implement QRB process strictly in daily work. Formed unified management files for key elevator parts with delivery risk, actively use the tool of RAMP, then carry on the risk assessment and improve the solutions. For the human resource management, should start from the perspective of the enterprise culture, help employees to establish positive values, even to cultivate the sense of belonging, through performance evaluation to classify the high potential person, provide the promotion opportunity to them, in which way to help enterprise reduce the dimension rate, avoid the brain drain, finally ensure that project proceed smoothly.
